Texas Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis did not have it tonight. In fact Lewis put up one of the worst pitching lines you will see this season.

In 2 1/3 innings of work the 34-year-old Lewis allowed 13 runs – 11 earned – on 13 hits while striking out just one batter.

Lewis went seven innings allowing three runs – two earned – in his last start on Saturday against the New York Mets.

Perhaps the craziest stat is that Lewis has not issued a walk in his last four games.

Lewis entered the game with a 5.51 ERA which has ballooned to 6.54.

Here is my favorite tweet about Lewis’ awful night.

It would not be a surprise at all if the Rangers cut ties with Lewis after Thursday’s game. He originally signed a minor league deal with the team.
