The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Chone Figgins to a minor league deal.
Figgins has been invited to spring training according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Last season Figgins failed to make the Miami Marlins out of spring training. Still he stands a reasonable chance to make the Dodgers if he can put together a strong spring.
It has been a while since Figgins was a useful big league option but his on base skills and speed still make him an intriguing option. He owns a .277/.349/.364 line with 337 stolen bases in 11 big league seasons.
