The Washington Nationals have activated outfielder Bryce Harper from the 15-day disabled list. Harper missed five weeks due to left knee bursitis.

During his rehab assignment the 20-year-old was 4-for-11 with a home run, triple and a double.

Harper will rejoin a .287/.386/.587 line with 12 home runs and 23 RBI with the Nationals.

In order to make room for him on the roster the Nationals sent right handed reliever Erik Davis to Triple-A Syracuse. Davis gave up three runs in 4 1/3 innings of work with the Nationals.
