Aceves picks up first win as Red Sox beat Indians

Alfredo Aceves picked up his first win of the season while filling in for an injuried John Lackey.

It was the second start of the year for Aceves who went five innings allowing three runs. He held the Indians scorelss for the first five innings of the game but allowed three to start the sixth before manager John Farrell pulled him.

If Lackey is to miss his next start the Red Sox figure to have little debate before giving Aceves the ball again.

They defeated the Indians 6-3 on Wednesday night.
