The Toronto Blue Jays have optioned pitcher Dave Busch to Triple-A Buffalo. Bush was placed on waivers yesterday so that the Blue Jays could place Mauro Gonzalez on the 40-man roster.
In Bush’s lone outing this season he allowed five runs on five hits, including four home runs, and a walk in three innings of work against Boston.
The 33-year-old Bush will have to work his way back to the majors and is doubtful to have much of an impact for the Blue Jays this year.
