The 41-year-old was acquired at the trade deadline and served as a half season rental for the team as they went to the Stanley Cup Finals.<\/p>\n<p>During his 33 games with the Bruins, Jagr scored nine points. (2 goals and 17 assists)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qY6ZaJK_ARc\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jagr told reporters about his time in Boston and joked &#8220;Maybe if I scored 20 goals in the playoffs it would be a different story, but I was 20 short.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He does intend to play next season though.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want to do it [play in the NHL again], I love this game so much that&#8217;s for sure,&#8221; Jagr said. &#8220;So I don&#8217;t want to go back to Czech yet.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Jagr, the Bruins will not re-sign Andrew Ference or Jay Pandolfo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jaromir Jagr does not expect to be back with the Boston Bruins next season.
