\"lolojones\"Lolo Jones was part of a U.S. team that won a gold<\/a> medal on Sunday in the bobsled-skeleton team event at the world championships in St. Moritz, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

She served as brakewoman for Elana Meyers in the women’s bobsled phase of an event that combined the times of Jones’ event with the two-man bobsled and men’s and women’s skeleton.<\/p>\n

While Germany won three of the four events, when all the times were added together the U.S. team finished 0.24 seconds ahead of the Germans.<\/p>\n

The difference was Noelle Pikus-Pace who was 1.7 seconds faster than German rival Marion Thees in women’s skeleton. The bobsled of Meyers and Jones finished third in their event.<\/p>\n
