NFL hopeful A.J. McCarron and former Miss Alabama winner Katherine Webb have gotten engaged. The couple first rose to national awareness during the 2013 BCS Championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame when ABC announcer Brent Musburger gushed over Webb.
From here Webb went on to appear in SI’s Swimsuit Issue, a Carl’s Jr commercial and even appeared on the tv show Splash.
In September reports arose that McCarron and Webb had broken up but those rumors were shot down by Webb and now the two are engaged as she broke the news on twitter even sending out a photo of her engagement ring.
