Johnny Weir and his husband of two years are getting divorced. The former skater, turned analyst, announced the news on twitter that he and Victor Voronov were splitting up.

Two weeks ago the couple appeared in court asking that a violence charge about Weir be dropped. Weir allegedly hit Voronov during a disagreement in February. That case was dismissed by the judge.
In a statement to Access Hollywood, Weir expanded on his relationship and impending divorce.
“I have been sad for a long time,”said Weir. “And unfortunately don’t foresee a way to resolve our current marital issues.”
The couple got married on New Year’s Eve in 2011.
