Tony Parker played a key role in the Spurs Game 1 win over the Grizzlies. He was also the subject of a death threat.
As KSAT.com reports someone called 911 and made death threats towards Parker with roughly five minutes left in the game between the Spurs and Grizzlies. Security was increased for the remainder of the game and afterwards as the issue is currently being investigated by the Bexar County Sheriff’s office.
Parker was escorted to his home by deputies as a precautionary move.
Tony Parker had 20 points, nine assists to lead the Spurs, who built 31-14 first-quarter lead to a 105-83 win.
