Duncan Keith stops shot with his face

The Chicago Blackhawks used any means necessary to stop the puck Tuesday versus St. Louis, including Duncan Keith’s face.

Keith did not take a direct hit to the face as the puck was deflected off the skate of teammate Marcus Kruger. Keith then held the puck with his chin and the referee blew the whistle.

It was fortunate for the Blackhawks that Keith’s face was there. Goalie Corey Crawford was out of position.

Chicago won the game 3-2.
