Blaney holds off two Hendrick cars, FireKeepers Casino 400 Results

Ryan Blaney doubled his win total on Sunday leading eight laps and winning the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

The driver of the No. 12 Menards/Cardell Cabinetry Ford Mustang was already locked in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs with a win at Atlanta Motor Speedway but his win on Sunday is a reminder that Team Penske driver is a threat to the Hendrick Motorsports juggernaut.

Blaney was able to hold off the duo of William Byron and Kyle Larson, who led a combined 88 laps on the day, in the closing laps after taking the lead on a late race restart.
