James Davison will get some extra seat time as he competes in the Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
Original Kyle Tilley was to drive the No. 5 car of BJ McLeod Motorsports but he will now focus his duties on his Cup Series race for Live Fast Motorsports on Sunday as he deals with a sore shoulder.
Davison last competed in the Xfinity Series in 2018 for Joe Gibbs Racing. He will start 34th in Saturday’s running of the Pennzoil 150.
