Josh Berry will drive the No. 25 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entry in upcoming races at Texas, Nashville, and Pocono.
The move comes after Timothy Peters and Rackley WAR team announced they had parted ways on Tuesday.
“We appreciate the foundation that Timothy Peters has brought Rackley WAR,” Willie Allen, team co-owner, said in a team statement. “We wish Timothy the best in his future racing endeavors. As a team, we remain focused on the remainder of the season.”
The team was running its first season in the Truck series this year. Peters had competed in 10 races scoring a best finish of 16th at Las Vegas. Most recently Peters finished 38th retiring with steering issues after 13 laps at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
