Mike Harmon Racing has had a pretty big set back this year, they are still finding ways to give back.
Mike Harmon Racing and Bayley Currey is thrilled present this special Breast Cancer Awareness Car that will hit the pavement on October 31, for the Xfinity race at Martinsville Speedway.
To one member of the Mike Harmon Racing team, Cindi Rivera (a 2-time breast cancer survivor), this is more than a Breast Cancer Awareness Car, it is a mission. “We want anyone affected by not only Breast Cancer but any Cancer, to know they are not in this alone.” Cindi goes on to say that; “all I want to do is stand beside those that have had to face Cancer head on. This affects not only the patient but their family and friends, and some days they just need to know there are people that care what they are dealing with.” Thanks to some amazing sponsors MHR can do just that.
MHR are selling ribbons that can be personalized to be placed on the 74 Chevy for $25.00. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Carolina Breast Friends (www.carolinabreastfriends.org) located in Charlotte, NC.
