Germain Racing and the No. 13 Chevrolet’s status for the 2021 season remains in question.
The car, currently driven by Ty Dillon, does not have sponsorship for the 2021 season and on Tuesday the team sent out a message on social media that they were exploring their options. Those options include owner Bob Germain selling the team.
“At this time, anything is on the table. Germain Racing does not have a signed sponsorship contract for 2021 and Bob Germain is exploring conversations for a potential sale.”
GEICO currently sponsors the car driven by Dillon but that sponsorship ends at the end of this season. Already the No. 95 team of Leavine Family Racing has sold off their assets as they leave the sport at the end of the 2020 season.
