Long Motorsports, Dawson Cram to kick off Helping Hands Tour at Kentucky Speedway

Long Motorsports (LMS) and driver Dawson “DK” Cram are set to kick off the “Helping Hands Tour” at Kentucky Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 11th. The Helping Hands Tour is a continuation of the LMS team’s Homestead NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race that honored all frontline health care workers and first responders affected by the COVID-19 virus.

The “Helping Hands Tour” provides a way for fans to interact and show their support through purchasing a handprint to be placed on LMS’ #55 truck for the Kentucky Motor Speedway race. Additionally, within the handprint Cram will personally sign the fans name or the name of a family member, doctor, nurse, fire rescue personnel, police officer, etc. they choose to honor with a Helping Hands handprint. A portion of the proceeds from each fan’s handprint will go towards purchasing face masks for frontline health care workers and first responders. Those who purchase a Helping Hands handprint will also receive a limited-edition hero card signed by DK himself.

Dawson “DK” Cram said – “I’m honored to be a part of this effort that will give fans the chance to be a part of the race team and help us acknowledge those affected by the COVID-19 virus,” LMS team owner Boyd Long said.

“We are excited to start this initiative and the goal is to fill every inch of space on the truck, showing support for those that have been affected by the virus while donating as many face masks as possible to the frontline healthcare workers and first responders who are in need of this critical piece of personal protection so they may safely continue helping those in need.”
