Juan Pablo Montoya, driver of the No. 42 Target Chevrolet for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing will look quite a bit different this weekend for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.
Montoya’s #42 will be red but not specifically red in color. Instead the car is going to promote six-time GRAMMY Award winning Taylor Swift’s deluxe album entitled, “RED” that will be sold exclusively in TARGET stores the day following the race at Kansas.
Montoya is excited about his car design for this weekend.
“The Taylor Swift design is fun and different and I think the NASCAR fans will love it,” said Montoya. “It’ll definitely draw some attention out on the race track.”
His car is normally painted red with Target logos but will instead be painted stark white with bright red detailing, and feature the artwork from Swift’s ”Red” CD cover.
