J.J Yeley joins Tommy Baldwin Racing, driving #37

J.J Yeley announced on his twitter today that he will be joining Tommy Baldwin Racing. Yeley had been driving the #49 car for Robinson-Blakeney Racing. (RBR)

Yeley had qualified for 14 races this season in for RBR. The team began the season hoping to run full races but had been reduced to a start and park team in recent weeks.

UPDATE: Yeley will drive the #37 car for Larry Gunselman. Gunselman has formed a technical alliance with Tommy Baldwin Racing.

“Max Q has been trying to put itself in position get back into the ‘Cup series and be competitive,” explained Gunselman. “Tommy and I got to talking and he explained where he want his program to go. He would like to build his program like the Hendrick, RCR and Roush teams by selling cars and engineering to make their program better, and that is something that I been looking to do to get my program to the next level.”

Baldwin also fields the #36 car of Dave Blaney and the #10 when it is driven by  David Reutimann.
