RAB Racing will feature Victor Gonzalez behind the wheel of it’s #99 car at Road America. The team which has struggled with funds and joined in a partnership with Michael Waltrip Racing, which puts Travis Pastrana in the car for select races, will be sponsored by Delta Commercial and IMCA.

Gonzalez who is 36 years of age finished 14th in the 2009 road course event in Montreal. Multiple websites have misspelled his name, due to the typo in the press release and subsequent copy and paste of jayski.com. He is pictured at right.

“This is a great opportunity for me to race with a team like RAB Racing and have support from Toyota,” said Gonzalez Jr. “Myself and Robby (Benton, team owner) have been working hard to put a deal together, and we were finally able to do that thanks to the support of Delta Commercial and IMCA. It’s a great feeling when you know you’ve got a chance to race with strong equipment and people.”
