Veteran driver Mike Skinner will make his season debut at Darlington this coming Saturday night. Skinner will attempt to qualify the #52 Toyota of Hamilton Means Racing. The car will be sponsored by Crusader’s Staffing.
In a press release from the team team owner Kelly Owen was quoted as saying “we are incredibility excited to have Mike come on board, he will certainly bring a great deal of knowledge and wisdom to our team’s efforts for the remainder of the season. Best of all he brings stability so that we can make our plans knowing that we a commitment from an experienced driver that can get the job done.”
Last season Skinner attempted to qualify for 30 races and made 21 races. He acted primarily as a start and park driver last season. If all goes well the team plans to have Skinner start all of the races in which they enter.
