Edwards wins another Nashville guitar

Carl Edwards was one of only two Sprint Cup regulars to arrive in Nashville to race Saturday night. Even with the numbers against them you had to feel that the Sprint Cup regulars were going to make short work of the Nationwide Series.

The only challage to Edwards all night came in the form of the #22 Dodge of fellow Sprint Cup driver Brad Keselowski. When engine problems shuffeled Keselowski to the back the race was all but over.

That’s not to say Edwards didn’t make mistakes. He was caught speeding on pit road midway though the race but worked his way back up though the pack in short order to win his 10th concrete track victory in the Nationwide Series. The win was also his sixth at Nashville, including one in the Truck Series.

Teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr finished second followed by a strong showing by Austin Dillon who won Friday nights Truck Series race. Justin Allgaier and Aric Almirola rounded out the top five.
